Five Ways God Answers Prayer

Whatever the answer, your best interest is always in mind.
Luis Palau
Over the years, I've discovered from Scripture and experience that God loves to answer our prayers. Here are five of his most frequent answers:

"No, I love you too much."
The Lord of the universe isn't under obligation to say "yes" to every prayer. That's a good thing, considering some of the things we request!

"Yes, but you'll have to wait."
Immediate answers to prayer: You want them. I want them. But God simply does not always work that way. And to get his best, we must be patient. In some cases, we must wait until the stroke of midnight for his answer to come.

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you" (Matt. 7:7).

"Yes, but not what you expected."
Have you ever asked God to use you? If so, expect the unexpected!

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Prov. 3:5-6).

"Yes, and here's more!"
Ever wonder if the Lord really knows what you want and need?

All along—no surprise—God knew what he was doing!
"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future'" (Jer. 29:11).

"Yes, I thought you'd never ask."
Many people think prayer is complicated. Actually, the simplest prayer can bring you the miracle you need, when you need it.

"The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective" (Jas. 5:16)
Well, so far my parents have left for India. The other half of the team were supposed to leave before my parents went. Far to many events have come up against Jim and Cathy it is overwhelming! Everything was in order for them to leave, and then an expired passport was noticed and it all seemed to go downhill from there.
Anyways, a few things to add to your prayer list this morning would be grand:

Prayer for the pain in Jim's right leg
Prayer for the passport to come through
prayer for a safe flight,if all goes well they will fly out today, and arrive tomorrow.
Prayer for Brian and Karen who are already there
Prayer for the Lord to go before them and guide the way.
Prayer for protection
Prayer for Pastor Phillip,he had a stroke and is in the hospital in India. He is grinding his teeth, and having seizures. The doctor's want to keep him in the hospital for 5 more day's.Pray for a full recovery.

"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."
Mathew 18:20

Heavenly Father,
I pray for peace, I pray for protection, I pray for all that has happened in the last few day's to be resolved.Lord, I ask that you would hold this team in your arms and rain down peace and comfort. This mission is in your hands. Go before them Father, and lead the way. I pray for strength.Prepare a path that every step this team makes, every door and window they open, every person they talk to ,every ride they must make, every walk they take will be done with ease and pain free. I pray for Pastor Phillip,Lord God, hold this man in your arms and heal him completly!Surround everyone involved in this mission, with your grace and Power to heal and lead!
With the team over there, and a prayer chain going on around the world, let us show your power and graceful mercy. For our God is an awesome God!Father I ask for prayer for family members of the team who are in ill health.Give them back the strength they once had.I pray for funds.Lord some members have had to come up with more money than expected. Please don't let them be down thinking this mission is not going to happen, because we know in Your Name, it will!"...thy will be done.." I ask this in Jesus name. Amen

My parents, Brian and Karen(kate) are leaving for India on Monday with my brother-in-law's parent's, Jim and Cathy. A prayer has been circulating via our email's. I would like to share this prayer, and invite you to join and pray for safety, peace, protection.....

Heavenly Father of Health and Life!
I ask for rest and good health for your servants Jim, Cathy, Brian, and Karen – help them to withstand the rigors of travel. Give them patience and the opportunity to testify to your glory and grace, even as they travel to their mission field. Please prepare the people they are focused on – pave the way for the Holy Spirit to soften hearts, open hearts, and cause eyes to see.
Lord – you are a God of the details of our lives. If you care about the sparrow, you care about the luggage. This luggage is special because it contains tool of the ministry – gifts for children to teach them about the greatest gift – the gift of life through the Savior Jesus Christ. It also contains their clothes. Though John the Baptist had rough wool clothes and was effective; I ask that Jim, Cathy, Brian, and Karen have the opportunity to wear the clothes they chose and not have to worry about purchasing new clothes or imitate John the Baptist. I ask that the luggage make it through the trip, without separation, and intact.
We are counting on You to make this trip a glorious event for those who need to hear and for those who feet are beautiful because they bring the good news.
Amen.

Father in Heaven, God bless us
Father in Heaven, God bless me
my soul, my heart, my glory
praise be to you, oh God.
Long is the peaceful day
Long is the night without gloom,
wonder, joy, love,
praise be to you, oh God.
I praise you from day to day
I praise you night after night
Father in Heaven, God bless us
Father in Heaven, God bless me
the moon, the sun, the wind,
praise be to you, oh God.

Who Else But A Mother

Who first loves and nurtures us and takes care of every need,as she accepts into her life someone new to bathe and feed?
Who brags about accomplishments; first teeth...first sounds...first smile and makes every little thing that's done seem important and worthwhile?
Who’s been known to, after dark enter a room and slowly creep to bend and kiss the forehead of a child fast asleep?
Who holds a hand while crossing as she thoughtfully conveys a reminder to her child that he should always "look both ways?"
Who wipes peanut butter off a cheek and crayon off the wall and knots an untied shoelace to avoid a likely fall?
Who watches the swift passing of childhood years that she will mourn, and remembers every small detail about the day that child was born?
Who works the longest hours without a vacation...or a check, but accepts her payment in the form of a hug around her neck?
Who never stops believing even when others are in doubt and defends the fact her child was "safe" when the umpire calls him out!?
Who senses things just aren’t right and with the palm of her hand decrees by placing it on her child’s brow... the fever’s 101 degrees?
Who shares life’s disappointments and feels the pain of all the bruises and delights in her child’s winnings, but offers solace when he loses?
Who realizes as the years pass by... the further her child will roam and who stays up late with worry when that child isn’t home?
Who tries to shield and protect by showing courage...staying strong;trying to set a good example while her heart is breaking all along?
Who acts as a private tutor as the years fall in succession by taking each opportunity to teach life’s every lesson?
Who listens with her heart even when her child is grown and understands the feelings that she once herself, had known?
Who saved old cards and letters and kept pictures on the shelves and offered unconditional love so we could learn to love, ourselves?
This poem describes one person; a woman unlike any other, for who could possess that level of love...Who Else, But A Mother?

Ashley and I were having some fun with our phone's the other night. So we took a picture of each other, taking pictures...hmmmm. Hope that made sense. Anyway,we were playing with different color backgrounds. So I took Ashley's picture with a color called Antiqua, and she took mine in a tone of Sepia. Then my cinnamon bun's finished baking so we ate half the tray. It was a fun girl's night......if the big boy's weren't there...lol....

Well, I got tired of shoveling so............

Actually, the ice and snow buildup was so bad there was no way we could use the blower or shovel on the side driveway. It only got shoveled once this year and then it was left. Now we need to use it,so a friend called a friend and....tada! Took 7 minutes compared to about 3 hour's of back breaking work. The loaderman could not go all the way along the side because the wire's from the house would touch the top of him.Oh well, I'm happy to see the whole front of the driveway again.......
